Summary
A rosewood and marquetry kneehole desk, English, circa 1880. The top with tooled leather inset, above three frieze drawers and a further three each side of the arched kneehole, all inlaid with scrolling foliage and bellflower swags, on square tapering legs with castors.

Provenance unknown, but to be seen in a photograph of Lady Robartes's Room taken by John Bethell for the National Trust in 1973.
