A moorland road winds towards the tor through heather and cattle, a signpost with birds above is silhouetted against the sky. (ex Music Room Shop and East Flat)

Unknown. Possibly belonged to the Agar-Robartes as we know that two of Charles Edward Brittan junior's watercolours of Dartmoor (unframed) were sold at Bonhams, Chelsea, 10.11.1998. 'Near Widdecombe, Dartmoor' and 'The Down Tor Valley, Dartmoor'. Provenance: by descent Viscount Clifton, Lanhydrock House, Bodmin.
