A moorland path leads from right of picture through grazing sheep and heather in the shade of the tor. (ex Music Room Shop and East Flat)

Unknown. Possibly belonged to the Agar-Robartes as we know that two of Charles Edward Brittan junior's watercolours of Dartmoor (unframed) were sold at Bonhams, Chelsea, 10.11.1998. 'Near Widdecombe, Dartmoor' and 'The Down Tor Valley, Dartmoor'. Provenance: by descent Viscount Clifton, Lanhydrock House, Bodmin.
