A framed black and white studio photograph of the nine Agar-Robartes children by Alexander Bassano (1829-1913). Standing at the back, left to right, The Hon. Mary Vere Agar-Robartes, later the Hon. Mrs. Yarde-Buller, 1879-1946, the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, later Captain the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, M.P., 1880-1915, the Hon. Victor Agar-Robartes, later the 8th Viscount Clifden, 1887-1974; seated, left to right, the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later the 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, the Hon. Cecil Agar-Robartes, 1892-1939, the Hon. Everilda Agar-Robartes, 1880-1969, the Hon. Alexander Agar-Robartes, 1895-1930, the Hon. Violet Agar-Robartes, 1888-1965 and the Hon. Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953 and lived there with his sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death in 1966.
