Framed oval photograph of a nursemaid with seven young children, c.1885. The little girl standing, rather blurred, is the Hon. Mary Vere Agar-Robartes, later the Hon. Mrs. Yarde-Buller, 1879-1946, and the two in the pram possibly the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, later Captain the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, M.P., 1880-1915, and his twin sister, the Hon. Everilda Agar-Robartes, 1880-1969. Photograph numbered LAN.PH.5032 as all photographs have individual PH numbers. .
Provenance
Acquired on transfer of the house to the National Trust in 1953. Lanhydrock was given by the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966.
