Summary

Print; aquatint etching, Plate 3. St Albans Grand Steeple Chase after James Pollard (Islington 1792 - Chelsea 1867). Framed and mounted colour sporting aquatint of a hunting scene where the horses and their riders are galloping up an incline.

Provenance

This picture is seen in a black and white photograph of The Hon. Thomas (Tommy) Agar-Robartes study at Eton/Oxford? so presumably acquired during transfer of the house to the National Trust.
