Summary
Cover for a Bohemian cut glass powder bowl tinted purple and overpainted in gilt with flowers foliage and scrolage. (Similar to LAN.C.190 and C.294) 1840-1860.
Provenance
Acquired during transfer of the house to the National Trust. Lanhydrock given by the 7th Viscount Clifden in 1953 and lived in by a member of the family until The Hon. Everilda's death in 1969. Can be seen in photograph of the Gallery in the 1950's or 1960's when roped off for visitors. Possibly collected during their travels.
