Summary
A part suite of Webb and Corbett glassware comprising of 12 finger bowls, 12 saucers, 11 champagne glasses, 11 wine, 12 sherry, 12 liqueur and 12 port glasses all with gilt rims. c.1900 Two matching water jugs (LAN.C.23 and LAN.C.27).
Provenance
Purchased by Michael Trinick from Miss L. Jewell Hill, 2 Polwithen Road, Penzance for £200, November 1971. This glassware was one of her American mother's wedding presents in 1906. Two glasses were missing from the set and a port glass had lost half a foot when the NT collected them from Penzance.
