Summary
Two copies of a poem entitled Lanhydrock, An Elegy, by Henry Sewell Stokes, dated 1882 and inscribed to the memory of the Right Honerable Thomas James, Lord Robartes, of Lanhydrock and Truro who died on the 9th March 1882 and of his wife, Juliana, who died on the 12th April 1881, the eighth day after the destruction by fire of the greater part of Lanhydrock House. In black and silver cover.
Provenance
A gift from Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave the house to the National Trust in 1953 and continued to live there until his death in 1966.
