Summary
Game pie dish - One of a pair of Staffordshire (Wedgwood?) Caneware game pie dishes and covers of oval form, finely carved with grapevine swags and pendant clusters of game; the covers are also carved with game and both have hare finials. Glazed liner. 1860-1880
Provenance
Originally on loan to the National Trust by the Trustees of the Enys Estate, Cornwall, 1971 and later purchased for Lanhydrock House in 2009.
