Summary
(Folio 20, recto, lower left print) Venus sitting on a piece of drapery on a rock, lifting her left leg in order to remove a rose thorn from her left foot; a forest at left and a cityscape in distance at right.
Provenance
At Saltram by 1771 and thence by descent to Montagu Brownlow Parker (1878-1962), 5th Earl of Morley and given to NT as part of the Endowment following transfer in 1957.
