Summary
(Folio 50 upper right print, recto),L' Aminta is a pastoral fable composed by Torquato Tasso in 1573 and published around 1580 .The first performance took place on 31 July 1573 , at the Belvedere in Ferrara .The plot is based on the myth of Pyramus and Thisbe , told in Ovid's Metamorphoses , but differs completely in the ending. Two women the one on the left holds a bow in her right hand and carries a bag of arrows on her back . They are standing in a wooded landscape.
