Summary
(Folio 34, recto, lower print) The flagellation of Christ who is tied to the column in the centre, three persecutors to the left, two at the left the crown of thorns is on the floor at right.
Provenance
At Saltram by 1771 and thence by descent to Montagu Brownlow Parker (1878-1962), 5th Earl of Morley and given to NT as part of the Endowment following transfer in 1957.
