Summary

An oblong cushion covered on one side in silk needlework. The pattern is of a border of trailling branches and leaves and flowers in blue, green, maroon, yellow and other colourings against a background originally worked in a chevron pattern, now much repaired and damaged. There is a central floral spray with leaves.

Provenance

At Saltram by 1957 and given to NT by Montagu Brownlow Parker (1878-1962), 5th Earl of Morley as part of the Endowment
