Summary
Whitle marble, John Parker, 1st Earl of Morley (1772-1840) by Joseph Nollekens, RA (London 1737 – London 1823), signed and dated Nollekens F. 1806. A bust in white statuary marble of Lord Boringdon before he was created Earl of Morley in 1815, inspired by the antique. He was active politician and supporter of William Pitt. He was one of the 'Holland House Set' where he associated with artists, literti and politicians.

Bt descent;accepted by HM Treasury in part payment of death-duties from the executors of Edmund Robert Parker, 4th Earl of Morley (1877-1951) and transferred to the National Trust in 1957
