Summary
Marble, Bust of an Unknown Man, called Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43 BC), probably Italian School, after the antique. On a marble socle and scagliola column and base. After the 1st century AD bust of an unknown man, given the name of Cicero, found in Rome in the early 17th century, first given to Cardinal Ludovico Ludovisi and then to Leopoldo de' Medici in 1669 (The Uffizi, no. 1914 n. 393).
