Summary
An illuminated address to Lord Boringdon dated August 1898 from the Port of Plymouth Incorporated Chamber of Commerce on his coming of age. Surrounded by views of Plymouth Guildhall, Laira Bridge, Royal Albert Bridge, steam and sailing boats. In a frame decorated with fish, shells and foliage with the outer frame of mahogany. Ink and watercolour on vellum. Please Note: the number SAL/R/7 is also designated to a map in the Book and Textile Room.
Provenance
At Saltram by 1898 and thence by descent to Montagu Brownlow Parker (1878-1962), 5th Earl of Morley and formed part of the endowment to NT following the transfer in 1957
