Summary
A white-painted wooden Windsor settee, English, probably the West Country, first half of the 19th century. With a low back raised on multiple turned spindles. The open outswept arms on spindles and turned arm supports flanking a seat dished for four people. Raised on ten turned legs, all linked by turned 'H'-shaped stretchers.

At Saltram by 1957 and given to NT by Montagu Brownlow Parker (1878-1962), 5th Earl of Morley as part of the Endowment
