Summary
A mahogany and upholstered armchair, English, mid-19th century. With a waisted button-upholstered back and arms, faced with foliate-carved and moulded uprights. The seat over-stuffed and raised on a pair of baluster and ring-turned front legs fitted with brass caps and castors, the rear rectangular-section legs outswept. Upholstered in green velvet corduroy.

At Saltram by 1957 and given to NT by Montagu Brownlow Parker (1878-1962), 5th Earl of Morley as part of the Endowment
