Summary
A mahogany, oak and burr occasional table, circa 1825, German or Austrian. The duodecagonal top with burr inlays edged with brass, the base a broadening hexagonal shaft embellished with three dolphins, on a concave-sided base.
Provenance
At Saltram by 1951 and accepted in part payment of death duties by HM Treasury from the executors of Edmund Robert Parker, 4th Earl of Morley (1877 - 1951) and transferred to the National Trust in 1957.
