Summary
A rosewood and brass-mounted centre or breakfast table, English, circa 1820. The circular top edged with brass beading and tilting on a spreading octagonal pillar with similar brass beading. Raised on a concave-sided rectangular platform and on three winged lion's paw feet.
Provenance
At Saltram by 1951 and accepted by HM Treasury in lieu of full payment of Death Duty from the Executors of Edmund Robert Parker (1877 - 1951), 4th Earl of Morley.
