Summary

Three B&W photographs of miniatures mounted in one frame, The miniatures were not amongst those in the House when transferred to NT in 1957.The photograph and attribution to Frances Hort, Mrs John Parker (d.1764) (centre) and that of her brother (left), later Sir John Hort may have come from one of the latter's descendants.

Provenance

Presumed to be at Saltram by 1962 and given to NT by Montagu Brownlow Parker (1878-1962), 5th Earl of Morley as part of the Endowment
