Summary
Print, lithograph, Prince Edward, Prince of Wales later King Edward VII (1841–1910) and his brother Prince Alfred, later Duke of Edinburgh and Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (1844-1900) (after Franz Xaver Winterhalter) by Alphonse Léon Noël (1807-1884). 1849 of the Prince of Wales and Prince Alfred, in a moulded gilt frame with incised decoration at the corners.
Provenance
Probably one of the five prints of the 'Royal Family' listed in the 1894 inventory (small pink room) and by descent to Montagu Brownlow Parker (1878-1962), 5th Earl of Morley and given to NT as part of the endowment following the transfer of the property etc by H.M. Treasury to NT in 1957.
