Summary
Cover for a pot pourri vase, porcelain, tripod base, the vase standing on three lion paw feet, bezel at top of stem the vase globular in form, dividing to form a cover, pierced at the interior foot and at the rim, probably John Rose & Co, Coalport, Shropshire, 1830-40; applied flowers in polychrome colours around the body, with a large flower forming the knop, gilded pattern to surface of foliate tendrils, band of gilding to rim
