Summary
A historic system comprising of an overshot iron water wheel by Thomas Bright of Carmarthen c.1860. 3.73m diameter, 58cm wide with S shaped wrought iron brackets. Drove pumps via belting and lineshafts. A drainage plan of 1912 by WT Kent hangs in the Pantry. It also shows a carbide gas plant and engine house that have now been removed.
