Summary
Broadwood grand piano, made circa 1819, however the piano is without a serial number. Veneered in rosewood and every surface except for the underside of the lid decorated with brass inlay, pedal lyre, four turned, part reeded supports. The instrument is badly distorted due to a design fault and needs conservation when it was made however it would have been one of Broadwood's elegant models, sold at four times the price of their ordinary instruments.
