Summary
English ebonised bracket clock, maker E. Debenham, Sudbury, circa 1820. Circular dial with black roman numerals, gilded spandrel decoration and fluting to the body of the clock, brass rings to either side, beneath which are brass fish-scale fret panels, with red silk backing. Four brass ball feet. The top has brass pineapple decoration. Glass door in the rear to show workings. Standing on later ebonised wall bracket. NB. John Clough made the bracket, 1984.
