Print of Royal Family of France. published by Robert Bowyer (London 1758-Byfleet 1834), 30 Pall Mall June 1 1816. Inscribed 'The Royal Family of France The Family of Buonaparte French General of France'. 50 Portrait medallions in a cartouche. Fifty individual bust portraits, in roundels, displayed over nine rows; top row consisting of five portraits, with at centre king Louis XVIII, surmounted by a fleur-de-lys; second row featuring seven portraits with Napoléon I at centre flanked by his two wives Joséphine and Marie Louise, and his four brothers Louis, Joseph, Jérôme and Lucien; the next six rows containing six portraits of generals and statesmen each; bottom row comprised of two portraits on either side of a falling eagle. Illustration to 'The Campaign of Waterloo, illustrated with engravings of Les Quatre Bras, La Belle Alliance, Hougoumont, La Haye Sainte, and other principal scenes of action...'
