Summary
A built-in wood wardrobe, British, built and installed by Avanti Architects, circa 2000, the wall panel centred by a pair of sliding doors with white frame, the interior with fitted shelves and metal rails, above the doors is a white framed long rectangular section with two sliding cupboard doors. The master bedroom was originally designed for Patrick Gwynne's parents. After WWII, Gwynne converted it to an office for his architectural practice. In 2000 it was returned to Gwynne's design of a bedroom by Avanti Architects working for the National Trust.
Provenance
The Homewood and some of its contents were given to the National Trust by Patrick Gwynne in 1999.
