Summary
A laminate beech 'Annika' table, Swedish, designed by Bruno Mathsson (1907-1988), circa 1936, manufactured by Karl Mathsson, the circular top on three shaped tapering legs. Stamped 'MADE IN SWEDEN' to the underside. The top was painted at one point but has now been stripped and restored to its original finish. This table is part of the same range as the two chaise longues (NT 864326 and 864328) and an 'Eva' chair (NT 864369) also at The Homewood.
Provenance
The Homewood and some of its contents were given to the National Trust by Patrick Gwynne in 1999.
