Summary
A wood, laminate, and glass headboard for two single beds, British, designed by Patrick Gwynne, circa 1930s, of rectangular form, with wood frame along the edges, lined with later white laminate, the top fitted with later uplighters under a glass panel (addition to original design), the centre of the headboard with light switch and plug socket, each end of the head board with shelf above a pull-up table. The headboard was originally covered in fabric to match the bedroom's curtains.
Provenance
The Homewood and some of its contents were given to the National Trust by Patrick Gwynne in 1999.
