Summary
A black-vinyl, aluminium, and terrazzo pedestal table, British, designed by Patrick Gwynne, circa 1960s, the circular top inset with black-vinyl surface, the table top with a wide rim formed of two aluminium bands, between the two bands is a strip of ebonized wood (possibly formica coated), the ebonized strip with four pull-out shelves with knob handles, the knob handles with horizontal incisions, the table top supported on a terrazzo pedestal and domed foot.
Provenance
Designed by the architect, Patrick Gwynne, circa 1960s. The Homewood and some of its contents were given to the National Trust by Patrick Gwynne in 1999.
