Summary
An oval wall-mounted telephone cabinet, British, designed by Patrick Gwynne, manufactured by Bianchi Cabinetmakers, circa 1960s, with oval black-plastic top, a black-lacquered wood band to the top and bottom edge, the bands enclosing a pair of mahogany or teak tambour doors with slim vertical handles, the interior with shelves to the left hand side and an open space, affixed to the wall on black-painted iron brackets, the underside previously with a black felt covering.
