Summary

A letter from the Warrant Officer at Chathan dated 4th January 1943. A response to a letter written by E W Chennell turning down his application to volunteer for the Royal Navy due to his employment as a farm worker, a reserved occupation. In original envelope. Part of the Ernest Walter Chennell Collection.
