Carpet. Main field has a green ground. Centre medallion and wide border with cream ground. Patterned principally in pink. The 'capital' Axminster carpet supplied for the room by Banting, France and Co. 1829.

Provenance

Part of the Bristol Collection. Acquired by the National Trust in 1956 under the auspices of the National Land Fund, later the National Heritage Memorial Fund
