Summary
Silver inkstand. 4 shell form feet. Gadrooned edge and tray with many incised marks on underside. 2 pen troughs, one engraved Bristol crest. 2 cut-glass jars (b,c), silver lids, pierced, one with single perforation, one with three. Each engraved Bristol crest, as also taper stand (d). John Crouch. 1811.
Provenance
Part of the Bristol Collection. Acquired by the National Trust in 1956 under the auspices of the National Land Fund, later the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
