Bronze and gilt mantle clock. By Charles Frodsham, Paris. c.1880. Gong striking Japy movement. Bronze winged figure of Kronos (Father Time) holding gilded scythe and clock face. Stands on red marble base with gilded lion's paw feet.

Part of the Bristol Collection. Acquired by the National Trust with the assistance of the Heritage Lottery Fund at the sale of the contents of Ickworth East Wing in 1996.
