Summary
One of a pair of rosewood and brass pole screens, Probably by Banting, France & Co. London, circa 1830 The square screen panel inset with an embossed wall paper fragment within a frame with turned roundels and held on a brass pole. The base with lappet carved turned pedestal and gadrooned collar raised on a concave triform plinth and gadrooned bun feet.
Provenance
Part of the Bristol Collection. The house and contents were acquired through the National Land Fund and transferred to the National Trust in 1956.
