Summary
One of a set of three mahogany and marble commodes, French circa 1825 probably supplied by Banting, France and Co. via Jean Pierre Feuillet The grey veined marble top above a moulded frieze drawer and three further drawers below and another long drawer to the plinth, raised on turned feet.

Part of the Bristol Collection. Acquired by the National Trust in 1956 under the auspices of the National Land Fund, later the National Heritage Memorial Fund
