Summary
One of a pair of mahogany and cane Bergeres in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster, circa 1820 The shaped back surmounted by a moulded tablet top rail, with scrolled arms and reeded turned tapered legs and brass cap castors.
Provenance
Part of the Bristol Collection. Acquired by the National Trust in 1956 under the auspices of the National Land Fund, later the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
