Summary
A mahogany and ormolu mounted writing table, probably supplied by Banting France & Co. via Jean Pierre Feuillet, a Parisian interior decorator and dealer, French, circa 1820 The superstructure with moulded top and fitted with two removable leather embossed drawers and with three small drawers below. The leather inset writing surface above a fitted frieze drawer with a sliding tray and removable four section tray. Raised on turned columns with ormolu collars to the top and foot and a concave plinth with brass castors. Possibly supplied by Banting, France & Co. via the French interior decorator Jean-Pierre Feuillet (?)
