Summary

One of a pair of mahogany torchères or pedestal stands, English circa 1880 18th century style, the shaped dished top with rope carved edge above a fluted column with mirrored acanthus carved cups raised in three acanthus carved cabriole legs and scrolled feet.

Provenance

Part of the Bristol Collection. The house and contents were acquired through the National Land Fund and transferred to the National Trust in 1956.
