Summary
This record contains racist imagery and language, retained here in the interest of learning and historical research. A group of nine alphabet blocks, c.1880. Nine cuboid wooden blocks, each pasted with chromolithographs on paper depicting objects, people, animals and plants which illustrate a letter of the alphabet, a chromolithograph of the letter itself pasted on the reverse of the block.
