A copy of portrait in the Dining Room at Ickworth House. Seated in parkland setting. Ickworth House in background. He is wearing coat and cravat. On back, handwritten 'Frederick William, Lord Hervey, born 1769, son of Frederick, Bishop of Derry, and Elizabeth Davers. Succeeded his father as 5th Earl of Bristol, 1803. Created Marquis of Bristol 1826. Married Elizabeth Albana Upton, d.of 1st Lord Templeton. Died 1859'.

Purchased in 2001 from Mr Whitworth, a cousin of the Hon David Erskine and a descendant of the Revd Lord Arthur Hervey, Bishop of Bath and Wells (1808-1894)
