Summary
Naval dress sword. Blade tarnished, decorative engraving of royal arms, crown and anchor. Hilt of leather framed in ormolu, topped with lion's head, crown and anchor on handle, hinged. Blue and gold wire tassel. Black leather sheath banded ormolu, inscribed with scrolls, oak leaves and acorns. 'Matthews and Co, Queens, Fortsea'.
