Summary

One of two illuminated addresses. Glazed in wooden and gilt frame. This address was presented to John Talbot Lutley Esq. by the inhabitants of Bromyard to celebrate the achievement of his 'majority' upon reaching the age of 21 in 1894. On the lower part of the address are the names of those who gifted a silver bowl to John Lutley as part of the celebrations. The accompanying text reads: "The undernamed inhabitants of Bromyard respectfully ask your acceptance of the accompanying Silver Bowl on the attainment of your Majority, 5th August 1894, as a mark of the regard and esteem which we entertain for yourself and the family."
