The mill at Ogwell no longer exists, however this watercolour by Samuel Prout gives us an accurate picture of how it would have looked. Born in Plymouth, Samuel Prout was a master of British watercolour architectural painting. He secured the position of painter in water-colours in ordinary to King George IV and later to Queen Victoria.
