Summary
Early 19th Century ebonised wood plucked string musical instrument (harp lute) by Light of Foley Place, London. The table bordered with gilt intertwined vines and oak branches and decorated with seated figures and flowers. The harp shaped neck incorporating fretted fingerboard. The faceted belly decorated with gilt lining. (See conservation report Spring 1989.)
