An ash, beech and elm Windsor armchair, Thames Valley, circa 1840. The hoop back with cherrywood pierced wheel splat, the arms with ring-turned supports and the figured elm seat with ring-turned legs joined by an H-stretcher, stamped with initials RF on the back edge of the seat.
