Summary
Child's bodice: bleached cotton plain weave embroidered in white cotton openwork and satin or straight stitch. Design: floral repeat with scalloped edge. Cream cotton machine lace border based on Valenciennes bobbin lace. High straight collar, sleeves curved to wrist and trimmed with lace. Bodice fitting into waist. Front opening with linen buttons, trimmed either side with lace from shoulder to waist.
